What is Joyful Movement & Recovery?

All motion is learned. Everything you do is a skill.

And no matter how seemingly simple, it can either be lost and replaced with something cheap, or improved to last and exhibit beautiful motion. Your brain, bones and soft tissue remodel according to lines of stress and firing sequences.

Everything you do matters. All motion leaves a mark.

You will become exactly what you do! Exactly how you do it! The wear patterns in your body become grooves and shape changes in all your tissue. And there is a map of it in your brain: a phenomenal version at one end, or a train wreck at the other!

There is always a better version of us. And you can change.

I believe no matter how bad or good your situation is, there is always a better version of us that can be achieved with gentle methodical effort. As we explore our incredible minds and realize the capability of movement we already have access to, we will see the result in our own youthfulness.

Hi, I’m Dr. Teagle.

People call me Kevin around here…

I have been a Doctor of Chiropractic since 2000, and an American Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician since 2009.

I live with a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a collagen disorder resulting in ligamentous laxity, i.e. loose joints. People like us can rotate our thumbs backwards or pull shoulders out of joint with ease, which can lead to constant tension and painful inflammation.

Unwilling to live a life of disability or pain, I have spent a lifetime adopting flawless movement patterns to not only live but thrive with this condition.

As a life-long guitarist, it is my hope to playfully live to my dying day. As a physician, my goal is to help you find freedom from pain, learn to move well, and keep doing what you love, as your best self!
